Book club reboot : 71 creative twists

Ostman, Sarah, (author.). Saba, Stephanie, (author.).

Summary:

"We have done our best to gather a wide cross-section of ideas to inspire you to rethink your book club offerings and come up with new directions to better meet your library's and community's needs. We began compiling this collection in early 2018 by putting out a call to the library field. Drawing on social media, electronic mailing lists, e-newsletters, and websites, we invited library professional and others to complete an online survey telling us about the creative book clubs they were hosting. We were floored by the number of responses we received -- nearly 250 book clubs from across the United States. We supplemented this list through our own research, reaching out to the creators of unique book groups that we heard about through colleagues or found online"-- Preface, page ix.
